My dad and I make a Los Angeles lunch guide

Posted by Richard Norris on

Ever since my dad found love and moved to Los Angeles, I've found every excuse to visit him (I'm a little jealous that he lives there.) Los Angeles is known for having unique restaurants, so I always make it a point that my dad and I try a few while I'm there.

Here are my dad and my three favorite places:

Kye's Montana (Santa Monica/Pacific Palisades)

You completely forget that you're eating healthy food when you're having a Kyerito. To me, that's mission accomplished. The Kyeritos are packed with nutrients and flavor so you'll leave lunch feeling satisfied, with absolutely no guilt (and a couple of good IG stories!)

Gratitude Kitchen & Bar

My dad has been getting more into vegetarian and vegan type foods recently. He grew up on a farm, so there was always meat on the table. For him, this is a totally new experience and he's absolutely loving. This is our favorite vegan place so far, because not only does it have a good atmosphere, but its healthy and you don't even notice it!

Downtown Los Angeles

Bottega Louie

This restaurant and bakery are loaded with atmosphere. The moment my dad and I walked in here, we completely forgot that we were in Downtown Los Angeles. BL transports you into a posh bakery somewhere in Europe. It's the vacation you never expected to be getting before you came here.

We hope you liked this guide!
